Phoebe Gibb is a Toronto-based writer. A 2023 Slamdance Mentorship Award finalist, her screenwriting has been recognized by Austin Film Festival, Screencraft, and Vancouver's GEMS Genre Film Lab. Her short stories have been published in online magazines such as Maudlin House and Flash Frog, where her work was selected by Kristen Arnett (New York Times-bestseller, Mostly Dead Things) and nominated for Best Small Fictions. She is currently working on her first collection of short stories with support from Canada Council for the Arts.
Working across a variety of projects in development with Sphere Media, Phoebe’s TV credits include serving as Consulting Producer on CBC comedy Small Achievable Goals and Associate Producer on the multi-Canadian Screen Award-winning medical drama Transplant (CTV/NBCU). She has script coordinated on several series in development with CBC and Amazon Studios.
Phoebe graduated from York University with an Honours BFA in Screenwriting. She is from Amherstburg, Ontario.
